Rhinoceros beetles are found on most continents. I have never studied them but I do admire their remarkable form. They use their horns to fight with other beetles, to forage for food and to store fats. Xylotrupes gideon, the species illustrated in A , is found in Asia while Oryctes nasicornis, B, lives in Europe. These are available in bronze or pewter and can be used as decorations and/or paper weights.
